Three-Michelin-star chef Dominique Crenn is moving to Las Vegas to open a plant-based taco joint, not far from The Strip.
Always environmentally aware, Crenn is bringing a touch of virtue to Sin City, and will offer delicious plant-based tacos at La Madrina. However, it is of course Las Vegas, so margaritas and a long list of tequilas and mezcals will appear on the menu to balance things out.
The venue will be one of two full-scale restaurants to take up residence at the all-new Sundry food hall in southwest Vegas early next year.
Crenn has recently appeared in the Fine Dining Lovers series Why Waste? Season 2, where she shares her knowledge and creative flair to show us how to use up kitchen waste and turn it into Michelin-star-worthy delicious dishes. Watch it below:
The news comes as Crenn will be joined in Las Vegas by her namesake, Dominique Ansel, who is preparing to open a pastry shop at Caesar’s Palace this month, where he will offer a unique collection of Vegas-themed pastries.
Chef, campaigner and activist Dominique Crenn has won the World's 50 Best Icon Award 2021, for her work on a range of issues, as well as championing women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights and labour rights. Find out more.
