You can really see the fear that Marco instils in the MasterChef contestants, he must have been a very demanding boss to work for back in his pomp. The controversial chef, who was responsible for making Gordon Ramsay cry, can also be incredibly encouraging and give due credit when it is deserved. He is from the old guard of kitchen chefs, the school of hard knocks, where you break people down in order to build them back up.
From scorning an attempt at a reimagined shepherd’s pie, to complimenting a dish for its woeful appearance and incredible flavours, there's never a dull moment - and of course, there's the legendary “Kingfish!” debacle. There’s plenty to love about the king of cooks, who is also one of the best food entertainers on television. Enjoy.
