The Michelin Guide for Tokyo 2019 has been announced with the city awarded a brand new three-star restaurant, L'Osier.
There were a total of three new two-star Michelin restaurants added to the guide: Nabeno-Ism, Harutaka which were promoted from one-star and Kobikicho Tomoki which went straight in at two-stars.
In the one star category, Tokyo added a whopping total of 29 new stars cementing the city as one of the most starred in the world.
Tokyo has a total of 230 stars, 13 three-star restaurants, 52 two-star restaurants and 165 one-star restaurants.
