If you're looking to have a truly special meal this Valentine's then look no further than the restaurants on this list.
Zagat has compiled the 10 of Most Romantic Restaurants in The World ahead of Valentine's Day on February 14th.
The list was compiled after Zagat polled their users on Twitter asking them to recommend their most romantic spots.
Coming out on top was La Tour d'Argent in Paris (seen above). The restaurant, with panoramic views of the famous Notre Dame cathedral, was the inspiration for the 2007 movie Ratatouille and is hailed as the first restaurant in France to popularize the use of the fork.
In this video the restaurant's famous pressed duck dish is explained.
Both The French Laundry and Per Se by Thomas Keller featured on the list with David Kinch at Manresa in California, Next in Chicago by Grant Achatz, Noma with Rene Redzepi and Faviken in Sweden with Magnus Nilsson were all picked as some of the most romantic spots to visit this Valentine's - good luck getting reservations though as most of these places book out months in advance.
