Long before Bridesmaids made her an international star, Melissa McCarthy dipped into the world of amateur cooking competitions with a role in an hilarious mockumentary called Cook-Off.
Now, 10 years, later the film is finally getting a limited theatrical release, Eater reports, hitting theatres on 17 November and then iTunes.
The film follows a cast of extreme characters as they face off in an amateur cook off, in the pursuit of a one million Dollar grand prize.
There are plenty of hiccups, sabotage and emotional breakdowns along the way and from the trailer this film looks a riot of fun, and if you’ve ever competed in a real-life cook-off, you’re sure to recognise some of the characters here.
