Multi-Michelin-starred French chef Alain Ducasse is to launch a river cruise along the Seine in Paris this September, on which guests can enjoy a 90-minute lunch or dinner costing up to €500 ($580).
Ducasse sur Seine, which launches on 4 September, will take in Paris’s most famous sites such as the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, with a boat journey that starts and ends at Port Debilly, in the 16th arrondissement.
Along the way, diners on the 200-capacity vessel, which is 100% electric, will be able to choose from a selection of menus, starting with three courses for €100 ($116), up to a special five course meal with Champagne, wines and a gift to take away for €500 ($580).
It’s the first new river dining cruise to launch on the Seine in 10 years and with Ducasse involved, you know to expect something extra special, though no details of the menu have been released yet.
