Michelin has released its first ever Washington, D.C. guide today, giving fine dining fans a new portal into the US capital's acclaimed food scene.
The city can be satisfied with its recognition by the famed Red Book as a newcomer, however Michelin inspectors didn’t find any restaurants that met their stringent standards for a three star rating. But, there was a trio of two star ratings and 12 restaurants received one star.
Prior to the release of the full guide Michelin had announced its Bib Gourmand list of 19 restaurants deemed to be good value.
Two star ratings were handed to:
1. José Andrés' Minibar
