The Roca Brothers -who run El Celler de Can Roca, the world's second best restaurant - will debut a film at the 65th Berlin Film Festival (known as the Berlinale) which kicks off February 5th.
Titled Cooking Up a Tribute, the film is directed by Luis Gonzalez and Andrea Gomez and tells the story of this past summer when Josep, Joan and Jordi Roca closed their acclaimed restaurant to embark on a five-week tour of the American continent. During their Roca n' Roll World Tour 2014 the brothers cooked 50,000 dishes for almost 3,000 people in six different cities: Houston (here's a video of the food), Dallas, Monterrey, Mexico City, Lima and Bogota.
The excitement of the tour was captured in the documentary which will premiere February 10th. The Roca Brothers will be at the Berlinale to host a discussion after the showing of the film. Get more information on the Berlinale here.
