It is a question that someone was bound to ask: where does the world's best chef like to eat?
It turns out René Redzepi, chef at Noma, has a few restaurant picks around the world. In an interview in the October issue of Afar travel guide, the Danish chef revealed one of his favorite spots for dining in Copenhagen is Relae, a vegetable-based restaurant manned by chef Christian Puglisi.
When in Italy, René enjoys traveling to Modena and eating at Osteria Francescana, which is ranked as Italy's number one restaurant and the holds the fifth spot on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list. Acclaimed chef Massimo Bottura and his staff prepare artistic and modern Italian cuisine with the best quality ingredients.
Third but not least, when René visits America he likes to eat at Willows Inn at Lummi Island. Run by Noma alumn Blaine Wetzel, this Washington state restaurant offers local specialties and is considered one of the most exciting restaurants in the Pacific Northwest.
