The marvelous art of butter sculpting, beloved across America's Corn Belt, has finally made it to Hollywood.Butter is an upcoming film starring Jennifer Garner who plays a mid-Western wife intent on winning a butter sculpting competition in Iowa.
The movie also features Hugh Jackman, Olivia Wilde and Alicia Silverstone. We first wrote about the cheeky film last September, after Butter wowed audiences in the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival. You can watch the trailer below.

Butter will premier October 5th but it is not the only film featuring the creamy spread for toast. Self-professed foodie Gwyneth Paltrow will star in the upcoming Hollywood adaptation of the Blood, Bones & Butter novel.
