Bangkok, Thailand, will see globally acclaimed chefs and mixologists converge for the 24th World Gourmet Festival, running from September 24-29 at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.
16 world class chefs, with a collective 30 Michelin stars between them at their respective restaurants, will be cooking a series of exclusive gourmet dinners to delight Bangkok’s gourmand community over a week, with an extension to the festival taking place on September 27 and 28. The event opens with a six-course Gala Dinner, with each course prepared by a different globally renowned chef.
Some of the world's best chefs will be cooking at the World Gourmet Festival 2024 including Thomas Bühner, Eric Räty, Matteo Ferrantino, Kazuyuki Tanaka, Sang Hoon Degeimbre, Louis Philippe, Henrique Sá Pessoa, Jimmy Lim, Rishi Naleendra, Stefan Stiller, Viki Geunes, Mark Donald, Guillaume Lopvet, and Wei Loon Tan, showcasing their world-leading culinary skills and flair in Bangkok.
To compliment the stellar food program, a lineup of bartenders and mixologists from Asia's and the World’s 50 Best Bars will be mixing top quality cocktails at Aqua Bar each night of the festival: Colin Chia, Raiza Carnejo, Elizabeth Bello, Lohn Lee, Bernardo Jimenez, Michito Kaneko, and Niks Anuman.
For those unable to attend during the main festival program, an extension will take place with two special dinners on September 27 and 28, when Italian chef Enrico Marmo will cook at the Anantara Chiang Mai Resort and Louis Anjos will cook for guests on the Loy Pela Voyages, Bangkok dinner cruise.
The World Gourmet Festival is supporting the Rajavithi-Girls’ Home, which provides quality education, medical care, and life skills training for disadvantaged young girls across Thailand, and a portion of all ticket sales will be contributed to the cause.
