Efficient meal planning not only ensures that you get to eat delicious well-cooked meals at home minus the stress of a last-minute dash to the supermarket and all the bad decisions that entails, but it also helps to cut back on food waste.
With that in mind, we wanted to provide you with an enticing set of recipes to try at home, one for each day of the week, some simple, some a little more ambitious, that will take your meal planning up a level.
Step forward seven Dubai-based chefs – “A supper club sensation, a neighbourhood favourite, a catering queen, an award-winning cookbook author, a power chef under 30, a pastry mastermind, and a culinary director of a five-star property” – all of whom are cooking at The Kitchen Takeover: 7 Chefs in 7 Weeks event at award-winning Boca in Dubai, one of the UAE’s most acclaimed restaurants.
The event, sponsored by S.Pellegrino, sees a different chef taking over the Boca kitchen for a three-night stint over the course of, you guessed it, seven weeks. Having kicked off in January, there are still two chefs left to cook. Head to Boca’s Instagram for more details and to find out how to book.
So, when we were looking for seven recipes for seven days it made sense to ask these seven top chefs for their ideas, in a satisfyingly circular kind of way. Let’s meet the chefs, from all over the world, and discover a recipe for every day of the week.
