Three Michelin star Singapore restaurant Les Amis has won the Gin Mare Art of Hospitality Award.
The award was bestowed by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants for outstanding service and exceptional hospitality.
Les Amis is a bastion of the French culinary tradition and old-world service in a world increasingly focused on fast-casual and speed of service.

“An ever-present in the eight editions of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants to date, it stands tall as a true bastion of grand gastronomy in the Lion City,” said Asia’s 50 Best in a press release.
Helmed by French chef Sebastien Lepinoy (picturd above), the cuisine at Les Amis holds fast to haute classics prepared to the highest standard using exclusively French produce. The restaurant has a cellar with 2,300 labels of mostly French wines, chosen by sommelier Rajeshwaran Raja Gopal.

While the food is globally recognised, it is the service that sets Les Amis apart and therefore makes it deserving of this award. To enhance table-side service and interaction with guests, Lepinoy and Restaurants Director Royston Soo roll out trolleys showcasing bread, Champagne, French cheeses, ice-cream and caviar.
“Top-notch service in a French restaurant is extremely important to ensure a perfect dining experience,” said Lepinoy.
