We have to admit, we can get a little social media-obsessed at FDL HQ, whether it’s for keeping track of the daily ongoings of the world’s best chefs, discovering up and coming dining spots or even just to get inspired for what to eat or cook next.
This week we couldn’t help but watch the video posted by World’s Best Restaurant Eleven Madison Park of how they make that famous duck dish, over and over again. And judging from your reaction on our Facebook page, we know that you all felt the same.
After duck, it was all about Spanish tapas and Jamon Iberico that New Yorkers will be able to have at the soon-to-be-opened Mercado Little Spain, down in Hudson Yard. How can you not, when three of the world’s greatest chefs José Andrés, and the Adrià brothers, Ferran and Albert, are behind the project? Here’s a sneak peek at all the mouthwatering Spanish specialties that will be available from the 14th of March at this La Boqueria-style food emporium.
Of course, your #FDLMoment photos have not gone unnoticed either. This week we got excited about perfectly cooked duck breast, the prettiest arrangement of this season’s vegetables, pinky pork ribs, seared scallops in coriander oil crab sauce, coffee maple gel and celeriac tart and more from chefs, restaurants and foodies from as far away as Gothenburg to Boston.
