The Michelin Guide to Washington, D.C. 2018 has been released, with the city still left chasing that elusive third star.
In what was a fairly uneventful announcement, the city now has two new, one star restaurants, the tasting menu-touting Komi (American-Mediterranean) and Metier (French-American), but no new two or three stars, in what is the second ever guide to the US capitol.
Talk prior to the Guide was of José Andrés's Minibar possibly making the leap to three stars, but it remains on two, along with Pineapple and Pearls and The Inn at Little Washington.
Washington D.C., tipped by the likes of Bon Appétit, as one of the best places to eat in the US right now, now has 14 starred restaurants in total. See the full list below.
