Joan Roca, co-owner of the world's best restaurant, will appear on the Spanish version of MasterChef tonight. The acclaimed chef will host a 'Masterclass' for contestants who face elimination.
Tonight's episode follows the contestants as they travel to Salamanca for a day of leisure before cooking 11 seafood dishes with some unconvetional ingredients. During that time, Roca will offer tips on how to cook each of these surprise ingredients.
To spruce things up a bit, five eliminated contestants will compete for a chance to get back show.
Roca, along with brothers Josep and Jordi, runs El Celler de Can Roca which won the prestigious first place in The World's 50 Best Restaurants awards sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
Back in 2011, the chef appeared on the show's British version and taught contestants how to make some of his signature dishes. You can see him in action in the clip below.
MasterChef Spain will air at 10:30 pm tonight on local channel La 1.
