Daniel Humm's three Michelin starred New York restaurant has laid on a seasonal feast that'll encourage most food lovers out of hibernation, showcasing some of the season's finest produce as well as artistic inspiration from Andy Goldsworthy.
Humm's characteristic creativity and precision cooking come to the fore once again in some seriously clean-cut yet delicious-looking dishes, promising comfort food coupled with punchy flavours to wake up those winter taste buds in the ten-course tasting menu.
Think hot peeko oyster with chowder and celery root, with a cold Widow's Hole oyster and celery snow mignonette (top image), through to comforting potato tart with bacon and onion and earthy roast Portabella mushroom with leek and shiso on to to a vibrant orange lobster with razor clam and sea urchin, finishing on a sweet note with chocolate with chai and gingerbread.
