The Michelin Guide for Chicago 2017 has been released with two new restaurants, Tru and Oriole, both gaining their second star.
The three-star category remained unchanged with Grace and Alinea both retaining their top status as the only restaurants in the city to receive Michelin’s highest accolade.
In the one star section there were four newcomers: GreenRiver, Smyth, Ravenswood’s Band of Bohemia and Roister - which was opened by Grant Achatz in 2016.
In total, the Michelin Guide for Chicago 2017 features two restaurants with three stars, five restaurants with two stars and a total of 19 restaurants with one star.
