When Massimo Bottura and his wife, Lara Gilmore announced plans to open a hotel in Modena, Italy, the food world was very excited. 

What would a hotel designed by the team who created Osteria Francescana look like? What art would hang on the walls? And, more importantly, what food would Bottura serve to his guests? 

In the exclusive video below, the chef answers all these questions as he takes Fine Dining Lovers on a private tour of the new hotel, Casa Maria Luigia, a space he created to offer friends a place to stay when they visited.
