Applications opened for the next edition of the S.Pellegrino Young Chef competition on 4 February and so far we have received a huge response from 84 countries around the world. From USA to Belarus and Korea to Malta, the spread of entrants represents the truly international flavour of this world-class event.
But there's still time for you to get involved and represent your country in which you work with your winning signature dish.

This year there are even more reasons to apply, as the competition comes with some exciting changes: there will be 12 global regions competing, more professional chef mentorship and guidance, more global visibility and training and more awards to be won.

Step Up You Female Chefs
Young female chefs are especially encouraged to apply as this year, in order to increase the representation of female chefs in the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2019/20, each pool of Regional Finalists will include at least three women. If there is an insufficient number of women applying to the competition in a region, male candidates will take the remaining spots.
