Cancel all plans, we have your weekend viewing sorted: Theater of Life, featuring Massimo Bottura and a roll call of some of the greatest chefs on the planet, is now on Netflix.
Director Peter Svatek's film follows Bottura, as he attempts to get Refettorio Ambrosiano, a unique soup kitchen where some of the world's best chefs, including Ferran Adrià , Alain Ducasse and René Redzepi were tasked with cooking gourmet meals for the needy using food waste, off the ground at the 2015 Milan Expo.
The project marked the birth of Food for Soul, Bottura's non-profit which has seen him open similar kitchens in Rio during the Olympic Games, as well as in London and in the future, the US.
