There are many reasons to love autumn, but there's one particular beverage that makes us look forward to the season all year long: pumpkin spice latte.
As you may already know, pumpkin spice latte is one of the many Starbucks-invented drinks. However, the very popular beverage doesn't contain pumpkin at all. Instead, it derives its name from the pumpkin pie spice used in the recipe (which you can learn how to make here).

HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE ... WITH PUMPKIN
The base ingredients are the same as any latte: coffee and milk (which can be dairy or plant-based). Then you'll add pumpkin puree, sugar (or your preferred sweetener – honey, maple syrup and agave work well) and the famous pumpkin pie spice.
While the coffee brews measure out twice as much milk as the amount of coffee you intend to drink. Pour the milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and sugar into a pot and bring to a simmer. Whisk well to blend together. You can add a dash of vanilla extract, if desired. The more you whisk the frothier your latte will be.
