As we scoured the web for our latest Best of the Blogs find we stumbled upon these gorgeous pomegranate fortune cookies. They were simply too irresistible not to share with you, dear reader.
This pink twist on the classic fortune cookie is the brainchild of Amy Kritzer over at the popular What Jew Want to Eat? blog. The exotic combination came about because Kritzer wanted to make a dessert featuring pomegranates - a fruit that's popular on Jewish tables during the holiday season.
Aside from sharing her lovely recipe for pomegranate fortune cookies, Kritzer offers helpful tips for getting them just right. Beware: the perfect cookie may take a few practice rounds! However, the end result is simply to die for.
