The most expensive whiskey to ever be bought at auction has been sold for a jaw dropping $460,000.
The 64-year-old single malt was sold in 2010 but has just officially recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Part of the Maccallan distillery which dates back to 1824 and all the proceeds from the auction were donated to charity. Macallan is a famous distillery and known for its high quality single malt blends.
There is no information on who actually bought the bottle.
