We’re getting closer. The World’s 50 Best Restaurants has released its list of restaurants ranked 100 to 51 ahead of the awards ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street in New York on 13 June, which you can live–stream from 8pm EDT on FineDiningLovers here.
The 100 – 51 list covers 21 countries: the US leads the way with nine entries, followed by France with eight. Japan is the highest scoring of the Asian countries with four restaurants.
There are 15 new entries, the highest being The Jane in Antwerp which comes in at number 54. Three of Latin America’s Best 50 Restaurants have a place, as well as Den in Tokyo, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2016’s One to Watch. St. John (London) and L’Atelier Saint Germain de Joël Robuchon (Paris) retain their places, along with many other mainstays.
This will be the first year the awards have been held in New York, following 14 successful years in London. Browse the full list below.
