Michelle Obama isn't giving up on healthy eating just because of the holidays. The First Lady and White House chef Cris Comerford have come up with a healthy treat: lollipops made out of vegetables.
The sweets are made with root vegetables and White House honey, among other things. The recipe for White House Honey Tea Lollipops also calls for green tea, peppermint oil and citrus zest.
The lollipops are shaped like wreaths and sprinkles with candied carrots, celery, fennel and beets. It's a treat that Obama describes as ''healthy and delicious.'' The recipe is available at Obama Foodarama.
