If you have a taste for the finer things in life, why not enjoy a slice of one of London's most prestigious hotels in its new debut cookbook: The Ritz London.
Offering a behind the scenes glimpse at the kitchens in this prestigious 112-year-old luxury institution, this first-ever cookbook offers up 100 recipes from Executive Chef, John Williams MBE, for dishes served inside the hotel's opulent restaurants.
Whether served at the Michelin-starred Ritz Restaurant, the iconic Palm Court or the legendary Rivoli Bar, the book captures the dishes served in all, with recipes for first courses, main courses and desserts. They're also handily divided into the four seasons making it easier to pick out those menus suited to spring, summer, autumn and winter. Naturally, each season begins with a unique cocktail and canapé pairing.
Recipes range from the simple to the seasonal and the signature, and the sublime. While luxury foods like truffle feature, there are also a few surprises in store, like John Williams intriguing appetite for Christmas tree and a unique recipe for a Douglas fir and lemon verbena cream.
