David Chang is to open a huge new Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York, in the same complex as restaurants Per Se and the ultra expensive Masa, it’s been announced.
His second New York Noodle Bar (the first arrived in 2004) is due to open in summer 2018 on the third floor of the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle and will be spread across 4000 square feet. It will be open for lunch and dinner, serving a new menu of buns, noodles and other dishes from chef Tony Kim, Grub Street reports.
Since the original Momofuku Noodle Bar opened, Chang’s restaurant empire has spread far and wide, including to Sydney, Australia, Toronto and Las Vegas. As we reported in July, Chang is also slated to open his first restaurant in LA later this year, as well as another in New York at the Pier 17 development.
