Anthony Bourdain is set to release new documentary that focuses on the growing problem of food waste and the many people from disiplines around the world who are trying to tackle the problem.
Called Wasted, the new movie will focus in on these people while stressing home just what an important issue the problem of waste food has now become.
Dan Barber and Massimo Bottura will both be making appearances in the documentary which will be produced by same award winning team as Bourdain's Parts Unknown series.
Bourdain's newest production seems to play into what is a growing trend, we're wasting more food than ever, but high profile celbrities and chefs have been getting involved with the cause for the past few years. As well as appearing in Wasted, Bottura also stars in a new documentarty, Theatre of Life, which focuses on the Italian chef's personal project to create delicious food from food destined for the trash.
Wasted is expected to debut October 13th, you can see the newly released trailer below.
