The 2017 edition of S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino closed last Saturday: an impressive 26 events, 36 Michelin Stars and 21 fascinating Swiss locations to celebrate eleven years of the festival.
The big news - this year - was the collaboration between S. Pellegrino Sapori Ticino and Le Soste - the Italian Association that brings together some of the greatest Italian chefs - for top-level culinary experiences inspired by Mediterranean flavours.
The gastro-fest featured the participation of Maurizio e Sandro Serva (restaurant La Trota, Italy), Fabio Pisani and Alessandro Negrini (restaurant Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia, Italy), Claudio Sadler (restaurant Sadler, Italy), Giancarlo Morelli (restaurant Pomiroeu, Italy), Mauro Uliassi (restaurant Uliassi, Italy), Giancarlo Perbellini (restaurant Casa Perbellini, Italy), Davide Scabin (restaurant Combal.Zero, Italy), Lionello Cera (restaurant Antica Osteria da Cera, Italy), Moreno Cedroni (restaurant Madonnina del Pescatore, Italy), Nicola Portinari (restaurant La Peca, Italy), Pino Cuttaia (restaurant La Madia, Italy), Franck Giovannini (restaurant B.Violier, Switzerland) and Ana Ros (restaurant Hiša Franko, Slovenia).
Once again, S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino organized a special evening dedicated to young talents of international cuisine who were recognised during the S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 competition: Matthias Walter (German winner), Alessandro Rapisarda (Italian winner) and Edoardo Fumagalli (Italian semi-finalist) were all hosted by the resident Chef Claudio Bollini at Lugano’s panoramic restaurant Seven.
Enjoy a selection of delicious dishes served during the overall event!
