The StarChefs New York Rising Stars awards, taking place February 21st in New York, point attention towards some of the restaurant industry's most exciting young chefs.
Including a very different range of restaurants, styles and techniques, the list features nine young people who StarChefs believe are the up-and-coming industry professionals we should all be watching.
Erik Ramirez from New York’s Peruvian hotspot Llama Inn, Junghyun Park from the modern Korean restaurant Atoboy, and Angela Dimayuga from Mission Chinese are just three of the winners - showing just what diversity of cuisine there is in the city.
There will also be a number of specific awards celebrated on the night: Community Chef, Best Restaurateur and Best Pastry Chef, to name just a few. The GameChanger Award, sponsored by S.Pellegrino, will be announced during the ceremony.
Below you can see a full line-up of the winners.
