Three former S.Pellegrino Young Chef competitors have been named in Forbes’ s list of the 30 most exciting creatives under 30 in Europe.
2015 winner Mark Moriarty (25, top left), 2016 grand finalist David Andrés Morera, (29, middle above) and 2015 finalist Christian Pettersen (27, top right) all feature on the list, which draws together the most inspiring young people across the arts, including artists, designers, photographers, filmmakers, entrepreneurs, and food professionals.
According to Forbes, every young person on the list "has a deep connection to their place of birth, where they live and where they work, while also fearlessly facing the world and the boundaries between different artistic disciplines."
Morera, who competed against eventual winner Mitch Leinhard in the grand final of S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 is said to "truly represent the excellence of Spanish cuisine."
Seven chefs in total made the cut. Forbes also produces a food and drink-focused, US list – see the 30 young people who will change the way you eat in 2017.
