Dinara Kasako is the creator of stunning cakes of geometrically profound dimensions that are so immaculate it's easy to forget you can actually eat them.
In fact, it comes with little surprise that the Ukranian baker originally studied and worked as an architect-designer and 3D visualiser for several years before discovering her love of bakery.
Largely self-taught with some input from professional pastry chefs she experimented with many of the techniques in her small home kitchen working on the core components of her precise cakes including; form, volume, composition, proportion, colour and texture correctly.
‘I’m trying to connect architecture, design, and patisserie. A beautiful cake as well as a beautiful building, needs preliminary design’, she told sogoodmagazine.
Geometric Cakes
Dinara creates the incredible cakes, which might look better placed in a design museum, using 3D modelling and printing or using silicone molds. And whilst they might not look edible the ingredients used look just as exciting including: sponge cake, chocolate mousse, berry confit, shortcrust dough, and meringue.
Check out some of her stunning geometric cake designs below, including a very cool video from Bored Panda, and head to her Instagram for more.
