Brae Named Melbourne's Restaurant of The Year

The Brae restaurant in Melbourne has been named as the Restaurant of The Year in the city’s Age Good Food Guide.

The People’s Choice Award went to Ezard @ Levantine Hill in the Yarra Valley, and chef Aaron Turner from the Igni restaurant won both the Citi Chef of The Year and Santa Vittoria Regional Restaurant of the Year awards.

Minamishima, Attica, Brae and Vue De Monde were the only three hatted restaurants in the 2017 guide, with Vue De Monde regaining top position after a stumble in 2016 that saw them drop to two.

Those to lose hats were Bistro Vue, Da Noi, Gladioli, Kenzan, MoVida Aqui, Rosetta and The Roving Marrow.
