It seems no one can knock Simon Rogan’sL’Enclume restaurant in Cumbria from it’s top spot after it was named for a fourth year in a row as the UK’s best restaurant in The Good Food Guide.
Rogan’s muddy fingered approach, which sees him and his team grow much of the produce they serve at the restaurant, has won many accolades since it opened back in 2002.
The food is seemingly simple, but there’s immense flavour, deep technique and strong balance across they restaurant’s 17–course tasting menu.
Below you can take a look at a collection of dishes from L’Enclume – and see what it takes to score a perfect 10 in The Good Food Guide.
