Hana Aouak launched her blog 'J’veux être bonne' in 2010 to share her favourite recipes with friends. In a cooking blog that mixes up light hearted animated recipe videos in stop-motion and beautiful shots, she confesses: "I am obsessed with food, colour and what grows in my garden"
Hana knew early on that she wanted to show her recipes in video. "I wanted it to be fun to watch and it seemed that the kitchen lended itself to this! I started out in small stop-motion videos. With my sidekick Cedric Bra, we called them "foodanimés" because that's really what it's all about: food that comes alive, cookies that sway their hips dancing, or fruit that creates colorful kaleidoscopes ...' she told Iamyourstory.
Take a look at one of her animations to find out what stop-motion is all about and why it lends itself beautifully to recipe instruction:
With more than 55,000 followers on her Instagram account, Hana has become a referential figure within the world of food bloggers.
