Heart in Ibiza, the new collaboration between the world famous Adria brothers and the equally famous Cirque du Soleil performance group, is now open and they’re already taking bookings using their usual ticketing style system.
A place that promises the crazy collision of music, art, performance, dance and of course the mind bending gastronomy of the Adria’s, Heart is set to be one of the most exciting, albeit a little confusing, openings of the year.
There’s three distinct spaces within the space: a terrace, a club and supper, each one offering a different slant on the multi-sensory experience of gastronomy meets art.
The terrace is packed with a number of different trolleys - similar to those seen in the brother’s Tickets restaurant in Barcelona - each serving a mix of street food from all over the world. This is all blended with special musical performances and the rather beautiful setting offered by the surrounding views of Ibiza.
The Club is exactly as it sounds, it is the capital of hedonism after all, with a mix of DJs and bands performing throughout the season. The difference here is that the crazy visual show on offer is produced by the award winning Cirque du Soleil.
For the serious gastro-hunters, Supper is the place to be. Here the brothers promise to offer guests the chance to discover an entirely new way of experiencing gastronomy. This is a place where music, food, servers, lights and the entire restaurant sing in tune, creating a fully immersive dining experience.
Tickets are not actually priced but there is a minimum consumption required for each area. €50 for the Terrace and €150 for Supper and booking can now be made online.
Ibiza is also home to a new restaurant opened recently by Paco Roncero, is it going to be the next culinary hub of Europe? Take a look at some of the images to get a feel for what it looks like and expect us to be back with more details very soon.
