Now’s your chance to step back into the nostalgia of the 50s and 60s as the iconic Post Office Tower, now called the BT Tower, reopens for a special two weeks of dining.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the London landmark, the restaurant at the top of the tower will open its doors for two weeks only with 1,400 lucky diners selected by public ballot.
The tower was originally opened by prime minister Howard Wilson in 1965 and at its height welcomed around 4,000 visitors a day. It was closed in 1980 after the queues slowly stopped.
The restaurant at the top of the tower will open tomorrow and stay open until August 7th, a set menu lunch of four courses is available for £50 and a seven course dinner will cost £68.
Anyone wishing to apply to the ballot can do so online and those lucky enough to get a ticket can bring along three guests to also enjoy the views.
