World's 50 Best Restaurants 2016 will be in New York

The organisers of The World's 50 Best Restaurants have announced that their 2016 ceremony will be held in New York.

In a move that mirrors the actions of Latin America's list which will move from Peru to Mexico in 2016, the world ceremony will, for the first time ever, leave the English capital. 

It will be first time in 14 years that the awards have left their home in London.
