We’ve all heard the saying, too good to eat, but what about ‘too real to eat?’. That’s exactly what goes through your mind when you first see these lifelike animal lollipops from the Japanese artist Shinri Tezeka.
Apparently it’s all based on an old tradition called Amezaiku which refers to an old practice in Japan of crafting amazing sugar lollipops.
The process, as you can see in the video below, takes a lot of time to perfect and the artists steady hands make some truly amazing cuts, twists, bends and colours.
