This video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the spectacular "four hands" charity dinner created by world-famous chef Joan Roca from El Celler de Can Roca and renown Taiwanese chef André Chiang.
The special dinner was hosted at Chiang's Restaurant André in Singapore, which ranks 37th on the World's 50 Best Restaurants 2014 and number 6 of the Asian list (both sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna). It was attended by 30 privileged guests who were expecting an 8-course Mediterranean dinner. Instead, they got to indulge in 30 mouthwatering dishes that showcased the unique cooking style of each of these talented chefs.
The menu, masterfully paired with fine wines, included sumptuous dishes like Truffle Brioche and Bonbon, Caviar Omelette, Chlorophyll Capsule, Mediterranean Sole, Baby Suckling Pig with Riesling Pfalz, Lemon Cloud and the intriguing-sounding French Earl Grey Tea Crystal.
Proceeds from the charity dinner went to the Red Cross in support of Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines. Here's a look at what you missed:
