You can't help but channel the famous Beatles song - albeit with a twist - when you watch this fascinating stop-motion film about...well...a yellow sub. Called Submarine Sandwich, the film is the latest short from PES, the talented director behind the viral short Spaghetti Western and Fresh Guacamole, the shortest film ever to be nominated for an Oscar.
PES has a funky trademark: he films 'recipes' made from rare ingredients. In the case of Submarine Sandwich, the sub is made from 'delicacies' such as a boxing glove, baseball mitt, a football, a soccer ball and gym socks. That's just for starters! The film is truly a masterpiece and almost makes you want to eat the inedible.
