David Chang has teamed up with a group of entrepreneurs to launch a new service that plans to make restaurant quality food available by delivery.
The app, called Maple, promises to bring chef inspired meals straight to your door and will launch in New York in 2015.
The New York Times reports that the team behind the project plan to use technology to make soggy food deliveries a thing of the past.
Maple, which has started with initial funding of $4 million, plans to produce smarter systems for restaurants and better packaging to help them deliver hot, fresh food within a 15 minute time frame.
Chang will act as chief culinary officer on the reject working alongside other chefs and suppliers to help create the menus.
