The Good Food Guide for 2014 has been released with, for the first time in its history, three restaurants sat at the top of the list with a perfect 10 score.
L’Enclume by Simon Rogan in Cumbria, The Fat Duck by Heston Blumenthal in Berkshire and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in London took first, second and third respectively in the guides top 50 restaurants list with each establishment receiving a perfect 10 score.
Clare Smyth, chef proprietor at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, became the first women in 15-years to receive a perfect 10 score - joining Rogan and Blumenthal who maintained their perfect scores from 2013.
Rogan was the over winner, saying he felt “privileged to be at the number one spot for a second year”, he added, “the team just keeps on getting stronger and stronger, and we now also have a hugely skilled front-of-house staff who more than match our culinary standards."
