If you want to have a go at growing your own ingredients but don’t have enough space for a garden, check out these micro-gardens from the Swedish design studio Tomorrow Machine.
They’re basically mini flat-pack greenhouses designed to help people plant ingredients indoors.
The outside walls of the greenhouse are made using a recyclable sheet of plastic with the plants being grown in a seaweed agar agar gel.
Because of the gel is packed with moisture that the plants absorb they never actually require watering.
