The Nahm restaurant in Bangkok, run by the Australian born chef David Thompson, was yesterday picked as number one on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants List 2014.
Thompson, who has dedicated his career to unearthing ancient Thai recipes and techniques, has built one of the most recognisable restaurant names in the industry with his Nahm restaurant in London being the first ever Thai restaurant to receive a Michelin star.
You can see more of Thompson’s reaction to the award here but for now, here’s a look at Nahm in Bangkok and some of the dishes created by Thompson and his head chef Prin Polsuk. For anyone who would like to cook Thai food at home, here's some Thai cooking tips from the chef.
Enjoy.
