We've heard of ice hotels and cocktail bars, but a supermarket made entirely of ice? That's the coolest use of frozen water we've seen in a long time.
Profi Romania is said to be the world's first ice supermarket. Located in Bucharest, the icy pop-up supermarket features shelves and walls sculptured from giant blocks of ice that hold produce, beverages and other regular items you'd find at a typical grocery store.
Customers can shop for groceries like they normally would - as long as they are bundled up and ready to face cool temperatures. The supermarket is kept below 5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit) to prevent the ice from melting.
Curious visitors have until Christmas Eve to check out the frozen supermarket located at George Enescu Square.
