Everyone knows Americans love burgers, the French have a love affair with croissants and Italians adore pasta, right? These may be stereotypes but photographer Jonathan Icher has used them as inspiration for his new series called Fat Flag.
Assisted by makeup artist Anastasia Parquet, the Paris-based photographer captured amazing images of people painted in their country's flag while eating iconic foods that represent their culture. The end result is undoubtedly fun and creative.
We must confess that the images sure gave us some mad cravings. Someone, please pass the sushi!
