A selection of the world's best chefs are heading to Vila Joya in Portugal as part of the hotel's International Gourmet Festival taking place November 7th-17th.
37 chefs will take part in the 10-day event with a combined collection of 60 Michelin stars between them.
Joan Roca, Bjorn Frantzen, Nuno Mendes, Quique Dacosta, Jonnie Boer and Heinz Beck are just a handful of the international chefs who will prepare dinners and hold master-classes during the food packed foray.
Themed dinners include One Night in Bangkok with David Thompson, a Brazilian BBQ with Rodrigo Oliveira and a Portuguese Star Chefs dinner with a 12 star menu prepared by some of the country's best chefs.
Speaking about the event, Chef Dieter Koschina, who runs the Vila Joya kitchen, said: "The International Gourmet Festival is important for us because not only does it promote Portugal and Portuguese gastronomy but it also acts as a unique celebration in uniting the best chefs in the world."
