Simon Rogan is confirmed to take over the role as chef at London's famous Claridge's Hotel restaurant which was previously run by Gordon Ramsay.
Rogan, who also owns the two Michelin starred L’Enclume in Cumbria and operates The French inside Manchester's Midland Hotel, will open the new restaurant at Claridge's in 2014.
Speaking abut the news,Thomas Kochs, the general manager at the hotel, said: "We are very excited about bringing Simon Rogan to Claridge’s. He is a home-grown British talent and we believe his inspiring culinary concept for the hotel will lead the way for a new dining direction."
Rogan said the new role was a massive honor and that he hopes to bring his unique culinary style of using the best fresh and seasonal ingredients to Claridge's.
The chef's L’Enclume restaurant was voted the Best Restaurant in the UK in the Good Food Guide for 2014.
